Mark - Alessandria 03-10-1967

In 1985 I start playing  the harmonica, influenced by Muddy Waters Band I mainly devote myself to Chicago Electric Blues
In 1987 joining blues bars I meet the swing trio "The King Bees"
(Sal Bonasoro, Alberto Marsico e Gianni Chiaretta ); we immediately become close friends (see photo at the King Bees party in 1990).
This swing band becomes a very important point of reference for my musical future.
Sal  starts teaching armonica to me in 1988 and I attend all their concerts since that date.
In 2003, we set the "Burning Mama Blues" electroacustic duo with a traditional blues repertoire - Matteo Carboncini at the guitar - we refer to masters such as Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, Rice Miller, Robert Johnson.
In 2003,  with Matteo and Guitar Ray, in quintet, I play at the first Fresonara Blues Festival, and in the same year, with the Roller Coaster blues band I perform at Fraskettando Music Fest, Gavi blues, Franzy Fest and other important music shows.
Thanks to my friend Andrea Cancedda , I meet Marco Costa, (Longs Valley Blues Band), and we start working together. We play together  in some concerts in Piemonte and Liguria in the following years.
In 2004, I luckily play (only in in jame session) in the USA, with legens of blues such as Hash Brown, at The Bone in Dallas and Johnny Nicholas  at Hill Top Cafe' in Austin.
In the same year I also join the Big Fat Mama of Genova in a few concerts and I record a song for the Fandango blues band of Gaetano Pellino.
I owe all that I learnt to these artists: Little Walter, Big Walter Horton, Sonny Boy Williamson, Rice Miller, George Harmonica Smith, James Cotton.
